Life At NIT DGP!!! part II

Second Sem.. Tym For Me to pull up the Socks....

Well... it is r8... it was tym for me to pull up the gears... My C.G wasn't good... I had showed up a poor perfomance in my last sem.. So.. I dcided .. whatever it might be.. whatever situation comes... I must tackle it.. and must override that difficulty and score a good result....

neways... last time I told U about ragging.. was just the trailer.... The thing that followed was even more happening... b4 the Sem brk.... The scores were .. Prithwish 97.. Khan.. somewhere around 70... the rest.. not near them.....neways.. there was a big fight(fight of words) b/w Khan and A third yr Student.... which resulted in a resolution... a Resolution of being Zone Out once again.... Yup!!.. Even Rajdeep was involved in this movement.... bcause he understood that R*gging is neither good nor it will help us in near future.... neways... those who were Zone In... bcame Zone out.. once again... and then... the same story.... Choto Gandhi More.. Brainwash... Forceful Zone In.... now this time.. Khan joined the List of Zone Outs.. alng with me and Sudip Deb... (Who said.. that he is going to prepare for IIT so he didn't give ragging...)....

Again.. Within Few Days.. another Resolution of bcoming Zone out. this time the reason was... Too much harsh behaviour by the Sirs.... again.. The same thng happened... ofcourse this tym one very bad thng happened..... That I don't want to discuss here in this blog... but.. the Zn out list increased by One.... Prithwish joined us.....

Eventually... the others gave r*gging... On March 20th... MR of Asansol Zn took place.... Den masti... and masti.. eventually we were unable to see that masti... but.. it is Ok.... March 25th was their Freshers party... they njoyed a lot.... It was also a farewell to the Final Yr seniors... as per my batchmates.. Our Final yr.. was very good.... neways.. R*gging was over... Zn ins free.. Zn outs... be a little careful in every step u take...

Ok.. leave that story aside.. talking about 2nd Sem... in my class.. Rajdip and Rohit came to my class... due to some roll no: lotcha.. neways.. it was due to them... I attended more classes in the 2nd sem than in the 1st sem... Wrote notes which I didn't in my first sem... but.. my target for sleeping was M-201.... Bagchi.... I used to have a little nap in his period....

neways.... I got many more frnds this sem... One of them was the Topper in Section C.... Poulami Das.... Well... she is very talkative.. very very different frm other girls... not shy of saying nething... very happy and confused nature Grl( Sorry!!!).... yet my very very good frnd...

Another of my new frnds.. was Our class topper in the 1st Sem... Esha Sarkar.... She is very very Studious.. She is a Maths-Mad.. grl... always Maths and Maths... but she is sweet, very very childish(the way she laughs !!!)... can crack a few jokes... if necessary...

Sathi was also there as my new frnd... but she bcame more of a special frnd..Not for me.. but for Rohit!!!!!!!!! now thnk whatever U want to thnk about them... U have the License to think...

It is a long time since I wrote about Souvik Khan's love status.... while he took admission to clg.. he was single... but sooner.... he got in some sort of relationship with a grl.... Our clg grl... Name... I will not say directly... but the name is very very Golden.... Many Many thngs happened... but ultimately... He remained Single.... yup!! Single again.... and Ready to Mingle and Jingle...

As far as my story was concerned.... I remained Single... Still loving that drmgrl!!!!!!!!!!!

Soon... our Second Semester xam came... ofcourse.. this tym I was well prepared... better than last time.. and Why shuld i not be... I got help from all corners . Dip,Poulami,Rajdeep... They helped me a lot..... Fakibazi was very very less in this sem....

Time to give the xams.....

Results Came out.... Mine was good.... a lot better than the previous one.... 8.32.. Dipsy got 9.08.. Poulami 9.36.... but Rajdeep stunned everyone... He got 9.32... an amazing perfomance.....

Really.. this sem.. I njoyed a lot.. also.. I studied a lot... Obviously I didn't go to Recstacy and Arohan(this wasn't due to fear.. this was due to some unavoidable circumastances..)... but still.. we got to see.. many new chapters of love sopening.. many chapters getting closed.... many chapters.. on the verge of opening... all in all.... First Year was very good indeed... I don't know what are the reactions of my zn mates... but still.. I think.. they too njoyed it... and Ofcourse.. One thng ... everyone will surely miss in their next three yrs.. Hall 9.... We wil miss U... hall 9....

The Fluid Masters... Prithwish, Ananda.... opened one special hub in the clg... called as Juni Hub... it was alltime on... 24X7.... alltime.. day and night.... Prithwish's compu bcame one of the biggest collection of Films..... in the entire clg....

Life at NIT DGP!!!!!!!!! (part I)

My First... oops.. ZEROTH year at NIT DGP!!!

With a rank of 27000+ in AIEEE, I was not even expecting to get this college.... but.. my Luck was very kind to me.. and I took admission in this college under the discipline of Biotechnology... A subject whose first three letters are my favorite... BIO....

neways.. along with me.... Khan(chemical), Dipayan(ECE... the only guy among us.. to get an All India seat), Shanti(Biotech.. Got admission a little late than us), Prithwish (IT),Somak,Rohit,Rajdip(Civil),Ananda(metallurgy) also took admission in this college....

So... We got underway... on 27th.... the day for our Hostel allotment... we were alloted Hall 9.. a hostel separately for the First years.... I got a room .. along with Dipayan, Khan and prithwish.... Rum 208.. 1st floor.... Somak got a room next to us... and Rohit Rum 214... It is a grt Hostel... lush green environment... It looks like a Palace.... it is so beautiful.... At Night .. it even looked better.... It can even b compared with the Mysore Palace....







So..... my first class at NIT DGP was on 30/7/2009.... Workshop....

We were njoyng our days very nicely.... play cricket or football in the small ground present in the Hostel.... Some of the boys... used to... play Table Tennis in our Common Room... Watch Tv... rellly... it was really nice.... Go to college at around 8.15 am... come from college for recess break... 12.15 pm -1.30 pn.. recess break... and then again clg... till 5.30 pm.. ofcourse... some did have their classes off in some period of time... and some did bunk the classes.... or possibly bunk a whole day....

I made some new frnds here... Ashish, Amit, Rourav, Tathagata,Abhijeet,Ritu, Anirban... and many... but the biggest gang of frnds I got.. was in my class... The Durgapur Zone... led by Sagnik.. my closest frnd among them was Samiran.. also Ayan,Rishi,Arijit,Sagnik and many more.. were and are my close frnds...

but njoyment has to b ended someday... and that D day came... one evening.. Rajdip came very late... around 8.30 pm( the offcial entrance time in the hostel was 6.00 pm).. He was present at the Senior Hostel.. HE WAS RAGGED... NOT ONLY RAGGED.. HE WAS SLAPPED.... A Clear Msg sent... juniors... ur ragging days have just started...
In the following days, two of our Zone was called on and ragged in the senior hostel... we dcided that we will not give ragging to the senior.. we will remain Zone Out( they will not give ragging to the senior.. and hence will not get ne help or ne masti from the seniors)... Rajdip was the only exception.. he dcided to remain Zone in( give ragging and njoy the nxt three yrs)....bcause Ragging gives us "personality Devepoment".... then we, the Brs students and Rajdip were called On at Choto Gandhi More.. by three 2nd yr Seniors.. oops.. Sirs.... brainwash was done... and so... except me.. all bcame.. forcefully Zone In....

Days went by.. I saw my pitty fellows... go in and out of the hostels... attending call.. call of the seniors..... and the Ragging that they got.... was very very pity.... write 60-70 pages of notes, remember fundas... remember the names of the Zone mates.... seniors... Hostel names... .. and if U fail to do nething.... ne single mistake.. THAASSSSS.... a slap...... Such a slap... no mercy nothing showed.... how much does it pain.. I may not be knowing bcause I haven't received it... but.. it pains a lot!!!!!!

o k.. leave ragging aside for a moment.... Let me tell U some other stories.... Dipayan .. tooked admission into this college with a relationship status of Commited.. commited to Disha.... yeah.. believe it or not!!!!!!... but.. that is ok.... it had to happen..... some day or the other.... Santikari ... got commited to my Best Frnd.... but.... the most shocking thng happened in our First Year....
Somak Ghosh.. a boy... who was known for hating girls... who was known for doing Mechanics and Physics.... Believe it or Not!!!!!!!! He Got Commited.... Commited to Esshna.... deeply commited... always hanging with the phone... Myself... Single...
Prithwish,Ananda... had a remarkable change... they started to bcome... The Fluid specialists... I think many of U will understand.. What I meant through it....

Soon.. Our First Sem xams came.... and I found out.. that I was in no where ready for giving this xam... Ihad no notes..( I did not write them... I always slept in the class.. So i was given a nickname.. GHUM)... and I was in need of notes... so.. mission notes started.. made xerox copies of the notes of Dipayan... and gave my xam usiing that notes only...

Then... it was the Sem brk....
Meanwhile.... I forgot to tell U about our Rum... It consisted of 4 beds.... two Computers... one of Dipayan and the Other of Prithwish... Dipayan's one was a gaming Machine.. High Graphics Card.... and Prithwish's one was for doing net.... High Speed Internet.... where we get a download speed of around 1 MBPS..... yup!... I MBPS.... but prithwish's compu was known for many times formatting .... He was given the Upadhi of Format Dev...

there was another guy... named.. Atanu Mazumdar... who had .... plenty of Variety of Adult movies nd its company( U know what I mean)..... and hence.. he was given the Title of P*nudev....

Our Bunk dev.. in the First Sem... was no doubt.. a guy from our Rum... Prithwish.... never used to go his classes... except ... during his Sessional classes... always. in our rum.. Tuesday used to b his Holiday..... a whole day Bunk.....

Results were Out!!!!!!!!! Myself got 6.88.... a poor perfomance indeed..... Dipayan.. got 8.64.... Prithwish.. a stunning.. 8.2.....
it was time for me.... to change gears.... to put up a good perfomance.... in the Second Sem....
